An internal survey only works if the employee believes it is anonymous.
Discuss my caseWorkplace climate, engagement, attrition and organisational culture. It is the only study where the respondent depends economically on whoever commissioned it, and that changes everything: if the company runs the measurement itself, the result comes out fine and is useless. That is why fieldwork has to be external and anonymity has to be verifiable.
01
The employee does not say what they think without trusting the anonymity.
02
Small teams are identifiable, so grouping has to be done with judgement.
03
The exit interview is run by someone who is part of the problem.
04
Measuring climate and then not acting is worse than not measuring at all.
