The place your brand occupies in the market’s mind

A brand is worth whatever the market remembers of it.

We measure how well you are known, what attributes you are given and who you get compared against — from spontaneous awareness to the attributes that separate you from your nearest competitor, with a baseline you can repeat over time to see whether brand investment is moving anything.

What it answers

Questions it answers

  • How many people know my brand without being prompted?
  • What attributes am I given, and which ones would I want to be given?
  • Where do I stand against my competitors?
  • Did the campaign I launched change anything measurable?
  • Was my rebranding understood, or did it confuse the market?
  • What price can my brand sustain without losing demand?

Frequently asked questions

How often should a brand be measured?

For a brand with steady advertising investment, two to four waves a year show movement without overspending. If the goal is evaluating one specific campaign, what you need is a reading before and one after, using the same questionnaire and the same sample profile.

Is brand measurement useful if we have never advertised?

It is especially useful. The first measurement is the baseline everything afterwards is judged against, and it usually reveals that the market already holds a formed idea of the brand — built by word of mouth, the point of sale or the price — which does not always match what the company believes it projects.
